Junior college:

We talked..

We cried..

She met him..

She was cool and i was fool..

She drifted away..

Graduation:

We bunked..

We ate junks..

We were the so called lesbians..

And we were “best friends”..

She did not trust..

She did not like my people..

She did not talk her heart out..

And we are “just friends”..

After graduation:

We prepared for interviews..

We roamed around..

We were the Goals people set..

And we were “best friends”..

He met some one new..

He forgot the old few..

He had his schedule fixed..

And we are “just friends”..

As true as it is said..

Everyone has “best friends” in all stages of life.. but lucky are those who have same “best friend” in all stages of life. ☺️😢
